Partners in Learning

Serious Games Summit - October 30-31
Partnering Forum - November 1-2

Partners in Learning is a Business Development initiative designed to help Canadian e-learning, animation, and simulation companies forge partnerships with key systems integrators and prime contractors in the U.S. mid-Atlantic market. Through a series of interactive meetings and networking events, you will learn how Canadian companies can develop partnerships with U.S. companies for a variety of business opportunities.

Partners in Learning combines a Washington, D.C. trade show, the Serious Games Summit, with an additional two days of Embassy-hosted events. Canadian companies may choose to attend the Summit, and remain in Washington for the Partnering Forum, or may elect to participate only in one or the other.

The Serious Games Summit
October 30-31
Partnering Forum
November 1-2
The Serious Games Summit D.C. 2006, now in its third year, is the premier professional conference dedicated to the use of interactive game technology within non-entertainment sectors. The Summit provides a platform for game developers, buyers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and advance the state of the art of serious games development. Participating Canadian companies can attend this conference at a reduced rate, participate as an exhibitor, or take part in an interactive Developers Showcase at the show. Here in Washington, some of the largest companies in the United States win billions of dollars worth of U.S. Government technology contracts every year. These prime contractors often have limited in-house capability to complete the training and simulation components of government contracts, and are always looking for sub-contractors and partners like you to complement their service offering. Participating in Partners in Learning offers you the opportunity to meet these key players, learn about their current projects, and develop partnerships for future business.

We look forward to seeing you in Washington!
