A block of 25 rooms for Canadian mission participants has been set aside at the Holiday Inn Capitol, for arrival March 24th and departure March 27th, at the rate of $US 219 (plus 14.5% taxes per night).

Individual reservations are required. Participants are responsible for their room, tax and incidental expenses. Make your reservation by calling 1-202-479-4000 before March 6, 2008. To ensure the above rate, your room must be reserved under the 'HIT (Health IT) room block. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Notice of cancellation is required 72 hours prior to March 24th, to avoid a charge for the first night's room and tax.

Air Travel to Washington

Three airports serve the Greater Washington region:

• Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) is closest to the city center, approximately an $20 taxi fare from the hotel.
• Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) is located 30 miles from the city center, taxi fares from $60 can be expected.
• Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) is furthest from the city center, taxi fares from $60-90 can be expected. For train schedules from BWI, visit www.amtrak.com.

Metro and Ground Transportation in Washington
