BWMC is an acute-care facility that is part of the University of Maryland, Medical System. As a 293-bed community hospital, it is one of the largest and best-equipped medical centers in the state. Presentations and tour of the Emergency Department.

Founded in 1823 by the Daughters of Charity, St. Agnes Hospital is a 323-bed full service community teaching hospital, with residency programs in a number of medical and surgical specialties. The hospital is a member of Ascension Health, the largest non-profit health care organization in the U.S.

Kaiser Permanente is the largest non-profit health plan in the U.S., serving 8.6 million members in nine states and the District of Columbia. Presentations will focus on Kaiser Permanente's technology solutions for claims, billing and membership services, as well as the development and implementation of the organization's EMR.
