Individual reservations are required. Participants are responsible for their room, tax and incidental expenses. Make your reservation by calling 1-800-492-5195 before September 28, 2007. To ensure the above rate, your room must be reserved under the Canadian Embassy room block. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Notice of cancellation is required 72 hours prior to October 28th, to avoid a charge for the first night's room and tax. Three airports serve the Greater Washington region:
Metro and Ground Transportation in WashingtonA taxi from the Doubletree Hotel to the Embassy (7-10 mins) will cost approximately $7.50 plus tip. The Metro (subway) offers convenient service within the Washington metropolitan area. Take the metro from the Farragut North station on the Red Line to Judiciary Square station (less than 10 mins).
